Lauren is qualified in two jurisdictions, the UK and Spain, with a LLM in International Business Law from University College London. Before launching Merger Antitrust Review in 2005, she practised EU and UK competition law for six years in London and Brussels at City Law firm SJ Berwin which gave her a unique inside into the complex area of European merger antitrust analysis.

She has been directly involved in a number of EU, UK and Member State merger notifications, and has considerable expertise in discussing merger filings with the EU, UK CMA and other national antitrust regulators in the EU. In addition, she has directly advised large corporations on issues involving abuse of dominance, cartels, commercial agreements, and strategic dealings with EU and National Competition Authorities.
